Olive Planting Program 2020 – Palestine
A Joint Advocacy Initiative-Alternative Tourism Group program for civil international solidarity with Palestinians, as part of the ongoing Keep Hope Alive – Olive Tree Campaign, to help Palestinian farmers and their families plant olive trees in their fields subjected to the threat of confiscation.
Besides olive planting, the program features introductory presentations about the current situation in Palestine and the effects of the apartheid wall, settlements, and tours in the old cities of Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem, in addition to cultural exposure.
The program will take place February 8-17.
