Filmlab Palestine – a Ramallah-based initiative whose sole purpose, according to founder Hanna Atallah, is to “revitalize the culture of films in Palestine, liberating it from the grasp of conventional European filmmaking industries and Hollywood” – is holding its annual Palestine Cinema Days October 2-9. Palestine Cinema Days is an event “offering participants, partners and professionals to present their products and experiences, and offers networking options for future development.”
