UNICEF Holds Child Rights Festival in Lebanon

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), UNICEF Lebanon is partnering with the Lebanese government and others to launch a series of events aimed at raising awareness of children’s rights and encouraging all stakeholders to put those rights at the forefront of the social and political agendas in Lebanon. The first activity took place on July 5, when 1,000 people gathered in Beirut for the Child Rights Festival.
