University of Arkansas Hosting Mideast Lecture

The University of Arkansas’ Middle East Studies Program is hosting a lecture titled, “In America’s Wake: Turbulence and Insecurity in the Middle East.” The event will take place on September 16 at the Fayetteville campus from 5:30-7:30 pm. The talk will be given by the University of Alabama’s Waleed Hazbun, who will focus on how US involvement in the region, foremost in Afghanistan, has created more instability.
