Palestinian-Israeli Choir Moves Judges and Audience on ‘America’s Got Talent’
A youth choir composed of Israeli and Palestinian singers has successfully advanced through the audition round of “America’s Got Talent.” Their touching performance of Phillip Phillips’ “Home” moved all four judges and the audience, setting a tone of unity and hope.
The Jerusalem Youth Chorus, as they introduced themselves, aims to foster peace and understanding through music. Their performance not only showcased their vocal talent but also their commitment to promoting justice, freedom, equality, and inclusion through their collaborative efforts.

Responding to what they would do with the $1 million prize, one choir member shared their vision of creating more inclusive spaces that encourage dialogue and understanding among diverse groups. The judges, visibly moved by the performance, praised the group for their harmony and the powerful message they conveyed.
Heidi Klum commented on the emotional impact of their song, while Howie Mandel referred to the performance as a “world anthem.” Simon Cowell admired the beauty they brought to the stage through friendship, and Sophia Vergara called it “spectacular” and “heartwarming.”
The choir’s advancement to the next round was met with enthusiastic applause, symbolizing a significant achievement not only for them but for the ideals they represent. AGT host Terry Crews summed up the sentiment by thanking the teens for what they symbolize to many around the world.
