Majority of Jewish Israelis Endorse Trump’s Gaza Relocation Plan, Survey Finds
A new survey released Monday by the Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) indicates that a significant majority of Jewish Israelis support US President Donald Trump’s proposal to relocate Gaza’s Arab population to other countries. The findings, published ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s meeting with Trump in Washington, show a notable shift in public opinion on a policy once deemed illegitimate by many.
According to the survey, eight out of 10 Jewish Israelis back the idea of relocating Gaza’s population. Among all Israelis, 43% view Trump’s plan as “practical” and advocate pursuing it, while an additional 30% of Jewish Israelis call it “not practical, but desirable,” meaning they support the concept but doubt its feasibility. Most Arab Israelis oppose the proposal.

The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.

Only 13% of Israelis consider Trump’s proposal “immoral.” This group includes more than half of Arab respondents (54%) and just 3% of Jewish Israelis, illustrating a stark divergence in attitudes along ethnic lines. Meanwhile, 14% of Israelis see it as a “distraction,” revealing skepticism on practical grounds rather than outright moral opposition.
The survey also highlights variations according to political affiliation. Among right-wing respondents, 81% see the plan as both desirable and practical, compared to 31% of centrists and 27% of left-wing Jewish respondents who share that view. The majority of Likud voters believe the relocation plan is both desirable and achievable. Half of National Unity Party supporters concur it is desirable but not feasible, while 62% of Labor affiliates regard it as either a distraction or immoral.
