Argentinian President Marks Attack Anniversary Naming Hamas Terrorist Entity
Backing his words with action, Argentinian President Javier Milei opted to mark the 30th anniversary of the 1994 Mutual Israelite Association of Argentina (AMIA) bombing by designating Hamas as a terrorist organization. The AMIA bombing, attributed to Iran-backed Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, killed 85 and wounded hundreds more and is considered the worst terror attack in the country’s history.

In a statement issued by his office, Milei noted the need to finally put the “political will” behind the fight against terror. With this act, Argentina becomes the second South American nation to declare Hamas a terrorist entity, following Paraguay.
The other acts of terror noted by Milei were the bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires in 1992, also attributed to Hizbullah, which killed 20, and the October 7th massacre orchestrated by Hamas in which 1,200 people were slaughtered, brutalized, and dehumanized when the terrorists swept across the Israel-Gaza border. Some 250 citizens of several countries, including the United States – were taken hostage and remain in captivity since that date. The event triggered a war between Israel and Hamas that has gone on for more than nine months.
