The decision came after a security preparation meeting that included officials from the unit for dignitary and delegation security at the Shin Bet security agency and the ministry’s security division. During this meeting, the security needs and potential scenarios for the Olympic Games were discussed in detail.
The Israeli delegation to the Paris Games, scheduled between July 26 and August 11, is expected to comprise around 120 athletes, staff members, and officials.
