The aid comes as the conflict between Hamas and Israel continues to escalate, causing devastating loss of life. The violence erupted when Hamas launched surprise attacks on southern Israeli towns near Gaza last Saturday, provoking retaliatory strikes from Israel. As of Thursday, the death toll in the region has climbed to over 2,600. Jordan’s medical assistance aims to ensure necessary treatments for Gaza residents affected by the continuing conflict.
