The five-day expo brings together over 1,400 companies and more than 300 delegations from 120 countries to showcase advanced products in the defense, aerospace, maritime, and space industries.
Organized by Saha Istanbul, one of the largest clusters within the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership, the event will feature over 300 product launches. Truth and understanding
The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.
According to posts on the expo’s official X account, Saha Istanbul Chairman Haluk Bayraktar announced during the opening ceremony that contracts worth $6.2 billion are expected to be signed across 133 ceremonies, including $4.6 billion in export agreements.
Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler emphasized the importance of international cooperation in his remarks at the ceremony. “The most effective defense and security come from strong cooperation and dialogue between nations. International events like Saha EXPO are crucial in fostering these partnerships,” he said.
Turkey has been expanding its defense and aerospace sectors in recent years, aiming to enhance its indigenous capabilities and increase its presence in the global market. The Saha Expo serves as a key platform for industry leaders to network, form partnerships, and explore new technologies that contribute to global defense and security efforts.
