Carnegie Center to Hold Event on ‘Yemen: The War and the Way Out’
The Carnegie Middle East Center in Beirut, Lebanon will host a discussion on August 20 titled,“Yemen: The War and the Way Out.” The 2-4 pm forum will include debates over policy issues, methods to ascertain a peaceful end to the war and foreign influence in the conflict. The event will feature, among others, former president of South Yemen Ali Nasser Mohamed; former Yemeni ambassador to Spain Mustapha Noman; and Radhya Almutawakel, who chairs the Yemen-based Mwatana Organization for Human Rights. The talks will be in Arabic, with English translation available.
