British Museum Unveils New Exhibition Depicting Islamic World’s Influence on West
The British Museum has announced a special exhibition, opening in October 2019, that will explore how western artists have been inspired by the Islamic world. Inspired by the East: How the Islamic World Influenced Western Art will chart the cultural interactions between Europe and North America in the “West,” and North Africa and the Middle East in the “East.” The exhibition is a collaboraton with the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (IAMM).
