Egyptian Swimmer Wins Bronze at World Championships

Egyptian swimmer Farida Osman won the bronze medal on Saturday in the women’s 50m butterfly final at the World Swimming Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. She completed the race with a time of 25.47 seconds. The silver medal went to Ranomi Kromowidjojo (Netherlands) while the gold went to Sarah Sjoestroem (Sweden). “I’m very happy that I made you and Egypt proud,” Osman said in a celebratory video posted on her social media platforms.
